Health and Safety Manager £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits Iver or Oxford Irwin and Colton are partnering with a well-established utilities contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering essential water infrastructure projects across West London and Oxford. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to embed a positive safety culture while providing practical health, safety and environmental support across a varied portfolio of repair and maintenance works. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include: Providing proactive health and safety support across multiple operational sites, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal requirements Advising project teams on high-risk activities including excavations, confined spaces, lifting operations and street works Carrying out site inspections, audits and investigations, identifying opportunities to improve standards and reduce risk Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain management systems and support external audits and ISO standardsThe successful Health and Safety Manager will have: Previous experience in a Health and Safety role within utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction A strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation together with experience of management systems The ability to build positive working relationships with operational teams and influence safety performance on site A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
