Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a large specialist construction contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Coordinator, in a great development opportunity. The organisation has a proven track record of high-quality delivery over a number of years and this role is a great role for any candidate with some experience or interest in health and safety, to work with the health and safety team to learn, develop and grow a career.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Coordinator will include:
- Administration of data collection and reporting on Health and Safety performance across the business
- Working with the team to learn and ultimately conduct site Health and Safety audits and inductions
- Working with the team to support in maintaining the Health, Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- To develop Health and Safety knowledge and provide advice to site teams in relation to Health and Safety
The successful Health and Safety Coordinator will have:
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under their own initiative
- An understanding or interest in Health and Safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A Health, Safety or Environmental qualification would be ideal, however not essential
