How would you like to play a key role supporting safety leadership across established operations, working hands on with an existing HSEQ team in the early stages and then becoming central to the integration and development of newly acquired sites as the business continues to expand across the UK?

We\’ve been engaged to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager on behalf of a specialist organisation supporting high risk industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at a pivotal point, where strong leadership, practical safety expertise and the ability to develop people will have a real impact.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will include:

Coaching and developing a dispersed QHSE team, setting clear direction and consistent standards
Embedding practical, compliant safe systems of work that actually work on site
Leading audits, inspections and regulatory engagement, ensuring issues are closed out properly
Championing behavioural safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement as the business growsThe successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will have:

Proven experience leading health and safety in heavy, high risk or complex operational environments
Strong leadership capability, with the confidence to coach teams and influence senior stakeholders
Solid working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO management systems
