Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor:
- Shop-floor engagement: Work closely with the workforce to encourage active participation in health and safety initiatives.
- Accident prevention and investigation: Lead the investigation of incidents, compile reports, and implement safety improvements.
- Risk assessments: Conduct and review risk assessments, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and other HSE standards.
- Health and safety compliance: Ensure all operations meet regulatory safety standards and company policies.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Gained experience within health and safety.
- Mindset: Proactive, and passionate about driving safety culture.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both shop-floor staff and senior management.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
