Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor:

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, conducting risk assessments, site inspections and audits to maintain safety standards across sites.
  • Safety Culture & Engagement: Engage with teams to promote a positive health and safety culture, providing training and support to employees on the best safety practices.
  • Business Relocation Support: Play an integral part in the site relocation process, identifying potential risk associated with the move and ensuring the new site is fully compliant before operations begin.
  • Incident Investigation & Reporting: Support the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, working with management to develop preventative measures based on findings.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Gained 1-2 years' experience within health and safety.
  • Mindset: Proactive, results-driven, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both shop-floor staff and senior management.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification, with previous experience within manufacturing, production or similar environments being beneficial but not essential.
