Irwin and Colton has been engaged to recruit a Health and Safety Manager by a specialist construction company who operate on luxury residential fit-out and refurbishment projects. With a strong emphasis on health and safety, this position is perfect for someone eager to advance their career while contributing to safer working environments.
Responsibilities
- Engage across the sites, implement health and safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with legislation and developing contractor safety.
- Conduct training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigate incidents where required.
- Lead on audits and inspections of project sites, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on findings.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role ideally from within construction, fit-out, refurbishment or related industry.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
