Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams to achieve excellent health and safety standards and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety issues, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Promote and embed a positive health and safety reporting culture across the site.
  • Drive health and safety improvements using root cause analysis and behavioural insights.
  • Assist in developing health and safety competencies within the project team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting Health and Safety in large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.
  • A NEBOSH General or Construction and ideally working towards a Level 6 Qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills to engage diverse teams effectively.
