Working with Directors who have been with the business since the start, this opportunity will see you joining a specialist health and safety consultancy which provides expert advice on health, safety, CDM and fire. This company is highly passionate about bringing people through their ranks by offering training and guidance of the highest quality, adding real value to both clients and employees.

This role will be primarily involved with their construction projects, carrying out site inspections, audits, risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans where required.

The responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant are:

  • Engaging with a range of key external clients to provide expert health and safety advice where required
  • Working with a range of clients on project delivery, identifying and accurately assessing health and safety and working with them to deliver solutions
  • Undertaking auditing, policy review, training and risk assessments where required
  • Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:

  • Experience within a Health and Safety role, ideally from within construction or a related industry
  • NEBOSH General (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders
  • A positive and pragmatic attitude to problem solving within Health and Safety
