Health and Safety Consultant

Health and Safety Consultant Home Based – with travel across Greater Manchester / Northwest region Salary : £52,000 + £4,000 car allowance Irwin and Colton have been engaged by an up-and-coming Consultancy who are looking to bring on board a new Health and Safety Consultant. This role will work with a range of clients, primarily through property, education, manufacturing and professional services providing site audits and health and safety expertise on a variety of interesting projects. Responsibilities Working with clients to advise and report on health and safety across a range of client sites Reporting and monitoring on onsite strategies and objectives for clients to help create a positive health and safety culture Delivering a range of services for clients, including auditing, policy review, training, risk assessments and management systems assessment as required Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation Qualifications NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is essential and Chartered membership of IOSH preferably Health and safety experience within the consultancy world; especially across the wider corporate industries / public sector Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and clients A positive and pragmatic attitude This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing collaborative consultancy.
