Health and Safety Advisor South East | £45,000- £50,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits Irwin and Colton has been engaged by a large, high profile construction company to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. The company have over 50 years of operation and have played a key role in many of the UK’s highest profile construction and development projects. This role will cover sites across the London and South East region, and is part of a much larger, tight knit health and safety team who meet regularly. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include: Engaging key internal and external stakeholders ensuring the vision for health and safety is communicated and implemented through the supply chain Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements Assisting the wider team in the development and delivery of the strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function internally and externally Overseeing administrative tasks and collection of data once tasks have been completed and revealing the findings to improve performanceThe successful Health and Safety Advisor will have: Proven experience in a similar health and safety position within construction and ideally utilities NEBOSH General Certificate A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders For further information contact Umaad Arshad at or on (phone number removed) or apply here.
