They are driving forward new innovations and working towards ambitious environmental targets across all their work. \\n\\nResponsibilities for the Environment Manager will include: \\n\\nDevelop and maintain environment management plans, ensure adherence to legislation, permits, and planning conditions, and conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.\\nPromote Sustainable best practise, such as waste reduction, carbon management and biodiversity enhancement and continually scanning for opportunities for improvement.\\nBe the main point of contact with key stakeholders including regulators and local authorities, Also Deliver training to staff as required.\\nPrepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, lead investigations into incidents and non-conformances and contribute to emergency response and pollution prevention planning.

\\n\\nThe successful Environment Manager will have: \\n\\nProven experience in a similar role ideally within utilities, construction, infrastructure or wider built environment\\nHold a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject or hold a relevant professional e.g. IEMA\\nExperience with Environmental management systems e.g., ISO14001, waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reporting\\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholders \\n\\nFor more information regarding this opportunity, please contact Jessica Rowe on (phone number removed).
