Are you looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of environmental compliance within a global recycling and resource management organisation?
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering environmental audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and internal environmental management systems
- Maintaining accurate environmental records, reports and performance data in line with regulatory and business requirements
- Monitoring existing and emerging environmental legislation and supporting its effective implementation across the organisation
- Developing and delivering environmental training to enhance awareness, competence and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar environmental role, ideally within waste, recycling or resource management
- A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or another science or data-driven discipline, with ISEP or CIWM membership being desirable
- A strong working knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO 14001
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
