Are you looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of environmental compliance within a global recycling and resource management organisation? Irwin and Colton are pleased to be supporting a leading recycling and resource management specialist with the recruitment of an Environment Advisor. The role will support operations across two sites in Lincoln and Nottingham, ensuring strong environmental performance and compliance.
Key responsibilities of the Environment Advisor will include:
- Delivering environmental audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and internal environmental management systems
- Maintaining accurate environmental records, reports and performance data in line with regulatory and business requirements
- Monitoring existing and emerging environmental legislation and supporting its effective implementation across the organisation
- Developing and delivering environmental training to enhance awareness, competence and continuous improvement
The successful Environment Advisor will have:
- Experience in a similar environmental role, ideally within waste, recycling or resource management
- A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or another science or data-driven discipline, with ISEP or CIWM membership being desirable
- A strong working knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO 14001
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
