We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join a leading water infrastructure delivery team, providing expert guidance across multiple sites within the South West Water regions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to influence safety culture and operational standards on prominent projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the management of SHEQ risks and overseeing incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Conducting audits and assurance visits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Assisting in delivery of SHEQ improvement plans and monitoring their effectiveness
  • Engaging with project teams to embed safe working practices and behaviours
  • Analysing safety data and reporting on trends to identify areas for enhancement

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental legislation, and construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM)
  • Experience implementing or auditing SHEQ management systems such as ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH diploma or equivalent) and a full UK driving license
