This role will focus on driving a positive safety culture across three major construction projects in London. Responsibilities:
- Plan health and safety throughout the project, from mobilisation through to delivery.
- Assess upcoming challenges and ensure health and safety solutions are in place.
- Be site based to assist, advise and coach contractors to ensure they can achieve efficient and effective delivery of the health and safety strategy.
- Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
- Constantly assess opportunities for improvements and share best practice across the project and wider organisation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally within civil engineering.
- Hold or be working towards NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ 6 (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages and communicate succinctly to a range of stakeholders.
- Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.
