Are you interested in joining a leading Principal Contractor to ensure the safe delivery of major construction projects? This role will focus on driving a positive safety culture across three major construction projects in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated health and safety professional looking to further develop and advance their career with a leader in the construction and civil engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan health and safety throughout the project, from mobilisation through to delivery.
  • Assess upcoming challenges and ensure health and safety solutions are in place.
  • Be site based to assist, advise and coach contractors to ensure they can achieve efficient and effective delivery of the health and safety strategy.
  • Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Constantly assess opportunities for improvements and share best practice across the project and wider organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally within civil engineering.
  • Hold or be working towards NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ 6 (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages and communicate succinctly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.
