Do you want to be part of a team where safety culture and compliance truly matter? We are supporting a respected manufacturing organisation to appoint a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting effective Health, Safety and Environmental management systems, partnering with teams across the site to help drive positive improvements and maintain a strong safety culture. This role provides an excellent opportunity to influence safety and environmental performance in a fast-paced setting.

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will:

  • Advise and support managers and employees on EHS management systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Conduct routine site audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support risk assessments for workplace safety, COSHH, PUWER, manual handling, and DSE.
  • Organise and deliver targeted EHS Training, including inductions and behavioural safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of legal regulations related to manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Understanding of ISO standards, especially ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with colleagues across various functions.
