We're supporting a leading UK construction company to find an Environment and Sustainability Advisor, specialising in BREEAM delivery and environmental management across diverse projects. Based in Cardiff, this full-time position offers the chance to be at the forefront of sustainability in construction, working closely with project teams, clients, assessors, and statutory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead BREEAM delivery across multiple projects, from design through to post-construction, ensuring compliance and high-quality evidence submission.
  • Support construction environmental management by overseeing CEMPs, site audits, and environmental legislation compliance.
  • Contribute to ESG performance, assisting with data collection, monitoring, and reporting on sustainability KPIs.
  • Provide advice and guidance to project teams on environmental standards, BREEAM requirements, and best practice.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving standards and legislation to continuously improve project delivery and sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering BREEAM projects within a construction or consultancy environment.
  • A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, technical interpretation ability, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of construction environmental controls and site-based delivery processes.
