Health and Safety Business Partner.
Circa £50,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + 15% Bonus and Excellent Benefits.
Hybrid with UK South Travel - Northampton Office based once per week.

We are partnering with one of the UK\'s leading builders\' merchants to recruit a Health and Safety Business Partner.
Emplacing over 4,500 people nationwide, the business has a well-established safety culture and is looking for an engaging Health and Safety professional to support operations across the South of England, partnering with Regional Directors and Branch Managers to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to drive a positive and proactive health and safety culture across the region.
- Provide practical advice and guidance on health and safety legislation, risk management and best practice.
- Deliver audits, inspections and assurance activities, identifying opportunities to continually improve safety performance.
- Coach and influence operational teams to take ownership of health and safety rather than relying on the safety function.
- Support fire safety compliance across the region where required.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
- Experience within a multi-site operational environment such as logistics, warehousing, retail, facilities management or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage managers at all levels.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills with a pragmatic approach to health and safety.
