Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we have been engaged on an exciting new opportunity with a renowned and market‑leading media organisation to recruit for a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. The role will be operating on a wide variety of sites across the southeast focusing on ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
Key responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor:
- Conducting site audits, inspections and accident investigations, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures across sites in the Southeast.
- Engaging with clients and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact on health, safety and environmental matters.
- Conducting training to support the development of a junior technician.
A successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- Experience operating in a high-risk environment, ideally within construction or rail operations/transport.
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections and investigations, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
