Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a varied, autonomous role supporting a high-profile client across the UK? Irwin and Colton are delighted to be partnering with a global leading facilities management organisation to recruit for a HSE Advisor. This home-based role will involve travelling to sites providing expert HSE advice and support to management, site teams and contractors.
Key responsibilities of the HSE Advisor include:
- Providing day-to-day HSE advice and guidance to management, site teams, contractors and HSE Coordinators.
- Conducting audits, inspections and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and effectively implemented.
- Supporting the implementation and continual improvement of the HSE Management System, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Working closely with internal management and senior stakeholders to promote a positive HSE culture.
A successful HSE Advisor will have:
- Up to 5 years' experience working in a Health and Safety advisory position, ideally within an FM, facilities or complex corporate environment.
- A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification is essential with candidates working towards or holding a NEBOSH diploma desirable.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
