Are you ready to lead a dynamic HSEQ function in a respected, long-established organisation? We are supporting a reputable construction and refurbishment contractor in recruiting a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in maintaining compliance, operational excellence, and strategic HSEQ initiatives across the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be predominantly based out of the Head Office, with the need for some site travel around London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance the company's HSEQ strategy, promoting a positive safety and quality culture.
- Ensure legal compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including the Building Safety Act.
- Support project teams in delivering safe and compliant work, including managing accreditations such as ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
- Lead the implementation of safety and environmental policies, conduct audits, and manage risk assessments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in HSEQ management within construction, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of UK legislation, industry standards, and management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
- Leadership capability with excellent communication and influencing skills.
