We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure programme. This role involves working with multiple stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with operational teams and external partners. Your expertise will help ensure safety standards are embedded into all project activities.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage and oversee health and safety compliance within construction environments, focusing on civils over housebuilding but including utility projects.
- Support and influence project teams, guiding safe working practices and sharing expertise in rail-related safety systems.
- Organise and participate in safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and permit to work processes.
- Assist in mentoring site personnel, fostering a proactive safety culture aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing safety compliance and continuous improvement.
You will have:
- Proven experience in construction health and safety management, particularly civils or similar construction disciplines.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sectors with a personable, approachable manner.
