Health and Safety Coordinator
Day rate: Β£350 (Inside IR35)
Location: Milton Keynes (full-time on site)
Duration: Initial 3 Months, Likely Extension to 6 Months

We are seeking a proactive and practical Health and Safety Coordinator to support a busy site undergoing a critical safety management system transition. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help drive safety standards in a complex environment managing hundreds of chemicals.
The main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the transfer and admin process of COSHH assessments into the new safety management system.
- Collaborating with department coordinators to understand and document current COSHH procedures.
- Assisting in building and maintaining a comprehensive safety data library (SDS library).
- Providing on-site support to ensure assessments are completed accurately and promptly.
- Participating in safety system surveys, data collection, and practical compliance activities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience with COSHH assessments and understanding of chemical safety management.
- Ability to work closely with operational teams and adapt to new safety systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to support busy departments.
- A practical, hands-on approach to health and safety support.
