Health & Safety Manager
Market Harborough | Circa £55,000 + Car + Benefits
Our client, a dynamic renewable energy and construction group, is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Manager to support their diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. The role involves overseeing health and safety compliance on multiple sites, providing spot checks and audits, and supporting project teams in risk management. You will work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure safety standards are maintained and improvements are continuously implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and spot checks on site and in the office.
- Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements, and permit to work procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and developing the company's health and safety procedures and policies.
- Support incident investigations and document safety-related activities.
You’ll Need:
- NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent) with a solid understanding of construction safety practices.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.
- Experience working on UK construction projects, handling paperwork, and conducting safety audits.
- Ability to work independently, with strong communication, and a team-player attitude.
