Group Head of Environment, Health and Safety | Liverpool | Β£75K-Β£85K + 10% Bonus + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Are you ready to influence and lead strategic health, safety, and environmental initiatives at a corporate level? Do you thrive on developing policies and guiding organisations towards zero harm and sustainable operations?

We are seeking an experienced professional to join a leading organisation as a Group Head of Environment, Health and Safety. The successful candidate will drive EHS strategy, develop Group-wide policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and review of EHS policies, procedures, and guidance documents at a Group level.
  • Supporting delivery of EHS strategy projects aligned with organisational goals.
  • Conducting assurance activities and audits to maintain compliance and improve performance.
  • Acting as a central contact for operational teams and external stakeholders on EHS matters.
  • Deputising for the Group EHS Director at board and committee meetings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in delivering EHS improvements within hazardous environments such as ports, airports, or logistics.
  • Strong ability to influence and engage at senior leadership and board levels.
  • Sound knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
