We are seeking an experienced professional to join a leading organisation as a Group Head of Environment, Health and Safety. The successful candidate will drive EHS strategy, develop Group-wide policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.
The key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and review of EHS policies, procedures, and guidance documents at a Group level.
- Supporting delivery of EHS strategy projects aligned with organisational goals.
- Conducting assurance activities and audits to maintain compliance and improve performance.
- Acting as a central contact for operational teams and external stakeholders on EHS matters.
- Deputising for the Group EHS Director at board and committee meetings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in delivering EHS improvements within hazardous environments such as ports, airports, or logistics.
- Strong ability to influence and engage at senior leadership and board levels.
- Sound knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
