Ready to take the next step in your Health, Safety and Environment career with a leader in the waste management industry?

We've been engaged by a leading global waste management organisation to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. The role is focused on supporting a positive health and safety culture and improving health and safety performance across the company.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:

  • Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of health, safety and environmental management systems in line with company policy
  • Assisting with audits, inspections and investigations, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting the implementation of health, safety and environmental initiatives and company-wide campaigns
  • Regularly visiting sites, monitoring health, safety and environmental performance and promoting best practice

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:

  • Experience in a similar health, safety and environment role within waste, heavy industrial or a related industry
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body such as IOSH
  • The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
  • A willingness to develop their career within a challenging operational environment
