The role is operating with a major global Principal Contractor who turnover in excess of £2bn and are currently engaged on a broad range of major projects.

Key responsibilities of the Sustainability Manager will include:
  • Assist with the delivery of sustainability strategies across projects, with a focus on carbon reduction, circularity, and alignment with client and company targets.
  • Collaborate with project teams and supply chains from early design through delivery to embed sustainable practices and ensure compliance with ISO-14001 and environmental standards.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders through training, working groups, and regular reporting to drive innovation and continuous improvement in sustainability performance.
  • Manage sustainability data and reporting, ensuring quality assurance, identifying actionable insights, and producing case studies to showcase best practices.
The successful Sustainability Manager requires:
  • Demonstrable environmental and sustainability experience ideally within Construction, Civil Engineering, or related.
  • Working knowledge of whole life carbon assessments, PAS 2080 and life cycle assessments.
  • Qualified in an appropriate environmental discipline and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas throughout the organisation.
