We are partnering with a specialist waste and resource recovery business in Lincolnshire that is seeking an experienced Interim Health & Safety Manager. This is a crucial appointment covering a two-site plastics operation during a period of change and development. The business is currently working to elevate its health & safety performance and embed stronger compliance and culture. This is a delivery-focused role with scope to lead, coach, and make an immediate impact across both sites.
Responsibilities of the Interim HSE Manager will include:
- Leading day-to-day H&S activity across two adjacent plastics sites (processing & recycling)
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team
- Driving compliance across risk assessments, SOPs, and site documentation
- Supporting EA compliance, audits, and improvement initiatives
- Engaging across functions - from shop floor to site leadership - to embed a positive H&S culture
The successful Interim HSE Manager will have:
- Strong experience in waste, manufacturing, or industrial processing environments
