Home Based - Midland's region remit

Salary: circa £45,000 + Expenses

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading Insurance and Risk Management organisation who are looking to bring on board a new up-and-coming Health and Safety Consultant. The organisation is a leader within their space, specialising in the charity and education sectors, and this role would be working with numerous clients on health and safety delivery (and fire safety from time to time).

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant will include:

  • Partnering with clients to advise and report on all safety matters across a range of charitable and educational sites
  • Report and monitor on onsite safety strategies and fire objectives for clients to help create a positive culture towards wider risk
  • Delivery on a range of services for clients, including auditing, policy reviews, training, risk assessments and management systems delivery as required
  • Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Fire-related qualifications would also be beneficial)
  • Proven experience across the wider corporate industries
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Full driving license, and comfortable with travel when required
