Are you ready to take the next step in your sustainability career by joining a global organisation and leading on their ESG Reporting? Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we are partnering alongside a leading natural resources company to identify an ESG Reporting Lead to join their team in a newly created role. The role will have a particular focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting and work closely with the existing Sustainability Team in addition to the Finance and Operational Teams. This role can be home based in the UK or Ireland, with bi-annual travel to Africa.

Key responsibilities of the ESG Reporting Lead:

  • Leading on CSRD reporting for the business, generating reports and presenting to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Collaborating with different departments to collect and collate ESG data.
  • Producing ESG disclosures and sustainability reports to help ensure compliance.
  • Overseeing and monitoring ESG performance and identifying any improvement opportunities.

The Successful ESG Reporting Lead will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a comparable role, preferably within the finance, accounting or broader corporate sectors.
  • Practical knowledge of CSRD reporting within an accounting environment, with an accountancy qualification as desirable.
  • Experience managing or working closely with external auditors on ESG disclosures.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including good communication and verbal skills.
