The company is continuing to expand, securing a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability. They are driving forward new innovations and working towards ambitious environmental targets across all their work. Responsibilities for the Environment Manager will include: Develop and maintain environment management plans, ensure adherence to legislation, permits, and planning conditions, and conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Promote Sustainable best practise, such as waste reduction, carbon management and biodiversity enhancement and continually scanning for opportunities for improvement. Be the main point of contact with key stakeholders including regulators and local authorities, Also Deliver training to staff as required. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, lead investigations into incidents and non-conformances and contribute to emergency response and pollution prevention planning. The successful Environment Manager will have: Proven experience in a similar role ideally within utilities, construction, infrastructure or wider built environment Hold a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject or hold a relevant professional e.g. IEMA Experience with Environmental management systems e.g., ISO14001, waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reporting Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholders For more information regarding this opportunity, please contact Jessica Rowe on (phone number removed).
