If the answer to the above is yes, then you may be interested in the Decarbonisation Manager role I am currently recruiting for. The role is joining an established team with a global facilities management company who are holding sustainability at the core of their operations. This role will be crucial to their continual development both internally and for major clients.
Responsibilities of the Decarbonisation Manager will include:
- Lead the development and implementation of decarbonisation strategies across service lines, ensuring alignment with Net Zero targets and organisational goals.
- Define and track performance metrics and KPIs to monitor sustainability progress, providing strategic direction and challenge where necessary.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to agree on action plans, ensuring accountability for delivery and effective risk mitigation across business functions.
- Oversee the identification, testing, and implementation of cost-effective carbon reduction solutions, supported by robust data management and reporting systems.
The successful Decarbonisation Manager will have:
- Proven operational Sustainability experience within a similar role; ideally within facilities management, property or related field.
- Comfortable working across complex organisations, engaging with diverse stakeholder groups and building strong relationships at all levels.
- Confident using data and insights to support the development and delivery of impactful sustainability solutions.
- Flexible and responsive to change, with the ability to adapt plans in line with evolving regulations, standards, and business needs.
