Building Safety Act Lead Location: Cambridge or Midlands Based Salary: Circa £90,000 + Car & Benefits We\’re excited to be recruiting for a Building Safety Act Lead on behalf of a leading construction and property services contractor. This is a newly created role, designed to take ownership of all matters relating to the Building Safety Act. You\’ll be working closely with a range of clients, helping them navigate the evolving legislation and ensuring compliance. The business has a turnover of more than £200 million and sees this position as a key part of its continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of Building Safety Cases and Gateway applications across planning, pre-construction, and completion stages Advise project teams and clients on compliance with the Building Safety Act and CDM Regulations Oversee compliance documentation and maintain strong client relationships through consistent and transparent progress reporting Manage the Golden Thread of information and all required building safety data The Successful Candidate Will Have: Proven experience working with the Building Safety Act NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (Diploma preferred) In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated legislation (including experience reporting to the Building Safety Regulator) Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel will be required.
