Do you have experience partnering with operational teams to improve standards, reduce risk and deliver continuous improvement across a manufacturing site?

We are recruiting for a global food manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead the HSE agenda at a large, complex manufacturing facility in Lowestoft.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with the site leadership team to drive compliance, engagement and operational excellence.

The successful Health and Safety Manager will: Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental strategies, policies and procedures.

Partner with operational leaders to embed a proactive safety culture across all areas of the site.

Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections, ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented.

Drive employee engagement and behavioural safety initiatives to improve safety performance and ownership at all levels.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company standards.

Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and support external audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in a Health and Safety leadership role within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similarly fast-paced manufacturing environment.

NEBOSH/NVQ Level 6 Diploma or higher in Occupational Health
