We are actively recruiting a Regional Health and Safety Manager to support a prominent residential accommodation provider within the education sector, ensuring health, safety, and fire safety compliance across multiple sites throughout London and the South East. This vital role involves working directly with site management teams to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and designed to protect the wellbeing of residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of the annual health and safety plan across multiple sites, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, review, and implement policies, risk assessments, and mitigation actions to address emerging risks and incidents.
- Collaborate with operations and estates teams to embed a strong safety culture and effectively deliver staff training and risk assessments.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate, with qualifications such as the NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate and/or a Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment being desirable.
- Proven experience within the property or residential sector, with multi-site experience essential.
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and investigations, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
