Health and Safety Manager
Lichfield | Circa £70,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits
Irwin and Colton are working with a leading construction and building services specialist to recruit a Health and Safety Manager.
The role will focus on supporting health and safety across a range of fit-out, refurbishment and M&E projects across the Midlands. You will work closely with project teams, managers and engineers to drive standards and promote a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing practical health and safety advice to project and site teams
- Carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Supporting risk assessments and method statements
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
- Working with managers to improve health and safety performance and standards
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in construction, M&E, building services or a similar environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence site teams and management
