SHEQ Manager
Guildford | Circa £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits
We are working with a well-established Civil Engineering company who are seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager to oversee company-wide adherence to legislation, support the development of integrated management systems, and promote a strong safety ethos through training, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
The key responsibilities include:
- Developing, updating, and implementing HSQE policies, procedures, and manuals across the organisation.
- Conducting site visits, safety inspections, and compliance audits to identify and address hazards.
- Supporting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions.
- Promoting safety awareness through training programmes and internal communication initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in managing HSQE in a multi-site civil engineering or similar environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- A relevant health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
