Health and Safety Advisor
Salary: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Birmingham (site-based)
Duration: 3-6 Months (potential for extension)
Hours: 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Friday

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering proactive safety leadership across multiple locations?
We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to support a major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This role involves working closely with the site teams to ensure safety standards are maintained and safety procedures are followed effectively.
The successful candidate will:
- Act as a proactive safety presence across multiple sites, supporting project activities.
- Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, promoting a safety-first culture.
- Support incident investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions.
- Engage with site teams to deliver safety briefings and monitor compliance.
- Assist with permit to work and other safety documentation as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Construction site experience, preferably within piling or similar sectors.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications.
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a site-based environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviours.
