The role is focused on helping to ensure the safe delivery of major works projects within the utilities sector. Responsibilities for the Head of Health and Safety will include:
- Liaising with senior managers, clients and external stakeholders, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical health and safety-related enquiries.
- Assessing upcoming challenges and ensuring health and safety solutions are in place.
- Constantly assessing opportunities for health and safety improvement.
- Leading on major health and safety incident investigations to identify root cause and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
