We have been engaged by a leader in the real estate industry to recruit a Health and Safety Manager. The organisation transforms land into thriving communities and exceptional places with a range of bespoke residential developments. Health and Safety has always been an integral part of the company’s culture and this role will play a crucial part in this continued success. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious health and safety professional who is looking to develop their career further with a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:
- Conducting health and safety inspections of strategic land sites and contractors, reviewing data to improve outcomes.
- Developing and implementing health and safety management systems proportionate to business risks.
- Providing expert health and safety advice and training to project teams and stakeholders.
- Investigating accidents and producing guidance documents as directed by the Head of Health and Safety.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally from within housebuilding, construction or a related industry.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Excellent communication and data analysis skills, with proficiency in Office 365 and a focus on promoting a positive safety culture.
