Health and Safety Consultant

Remote | Competitive Day Rate (Outside IR35)

3-Month Initial Contract (Scope for Extension)

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading global insurance provider to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant. This is a high-impact role focussed on the owned and leased office spaces across the UK, conducting a review of Health and Safety and working to ensure compliance with up-to-date regulations.

You\'ll work closely with the property and facilities team to deliver high levels of assurance to the wider business and identify areas of improvement.

Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant include:

  • Conduct a GAP analysis across all sites.
  • Review and report on the current Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Advise on best practice within a commercial office space environment.
  • Liaise with FM and Property team to ensure all appropriate training is completed.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK and international codes and legislation.
  • Lead on the onboarding of a longer-term Health and Safety solution, considering permanent professionals and/or consultancies.

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:

  • A Diploma in Health and Safety.
  • Strong experience consulting on Health and Safety across commercial office spaces.
  • Experience building Health and Safety functions from scratch.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to provide high levels of assurance.
