An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading provider of specialist engineering services across the UK's key infrastructure sectors. This senior leadership role will lead the company's approach to business assurance, governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring risks are effectively managed. Working closely with senior leaders and project teams, you'll help maintain ISO accreditations and drive a culture of excellence across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining an effective Business Management System, leading on the maintenance of key ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Planning and managing audits across the business, prioritising audit strategy based on risk factors.
  • Overseeing connections with external accreditation and membership organisations, making sure renewals and requirements are planned and handled efficiently.
  • Driving a culture of learning and ongoing improvement across the business, while building, leading, and developing the Business Assurance Team to deliver strong performance and high engagement.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar Business Assurance/Compliance or related role.
  • Demonstrable track record in developing and managing Business Management Systems.
  • Strong background in auditing and managing operational accreditations, including ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
