35 hours per week, with services operating between 7:45am and 8:10pm, Monday to Sunday. Worked on a shift rota including 1 weekend in every 5 weeks. Shifts are either 7:45am to 3:15pm (Early) or 12:10pm to 8:10pm (Late). No sleep-in duties are required.

This role will help us to do this by working as part of a team within a supported housing service in Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support to young customers aged 16 to 25 years old.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Using a person-centred approach to enable customers to develop independent living skills and move on successfully into more permanent accommodation suitable to their needs.
- Successfully building on skills that will support customers to access work, training or education.
- Using techniques such as coaching and strengths-based approaches to enable customers to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers and take control of their lives.
- Being involved in all aspects of housing management, which include but are not exclusive to; collecting rent, reporting repairs, maintaining the health and safety of the building.
We need people who have:
- Experience of working within a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting.
- Experience of supporting young people or vulnerable adults with multiple support needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of young people and vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of issues that can impact the lives of young people, including homelessness, mental health and tenancy sustainment.
- Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and risk management.
- Strong communication, recording and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and partner agencies.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience of working within supported housing services.
- Knowledge of legislation and best practice relating to housing support, safeguarding.
- A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
Please note that an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and you must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
