As a not-for-profit housing association, we provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester. We build affordable new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential. This role will help us to do this by working as part of a team within supported housing and outreach services in Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support and enablement support to young adult clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing partnerships with clients, partner agents and families, and individualised support packages.

We need people who have / are:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and developments relating to all clients including people with ADHD and ASD, and people with substance misuse issues
  • Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety procedures and tenancy management
  • Experience of working in a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting
  • Experience working with complex support needs
  • Excellent communication skills – written/verbal/numerical/IT/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with all clients, their families, colleagues and partner agents
