An experienced Private Chef is sought to cook on a personal basis for a private client. This is an exceptional opportunity for a chef who values flexibility, variety and the chance to deliver fresh, health-conscious cooking in a private household.
The client does not entertain frequently, so the focus is on consistent, day-to-day healthy and wholesome cooking rather than formal entertaining — an ideal role for a chef who excels at delivering high-quality everyday meals.
The role at a glance
- Working pattern: approximately 8 months working and 4 months off per year
- Schedule: sporadic and flexible
- Location: around 4 months based in London, 4 months overseas, and 4 months downtime, with travel between the UK, US and Europe as needed
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily meals aligned with the client's healthy eating preferences — primarily grilled proteins (chicken, steak) and fresh vegetables
- Source high-quality, fresh ingredients
- Plan and adapt menus to seasonal availability
- Maintain an organised, clean kitchen and manage pantry and supply inventory
- Occasionally prepare food for small, informal gatherings when required
- Travel with the client between the UK, US and Europe as needed
