Sole-charge nanny for children
A warm, busy West London family is seeking an experienced, dedicated full-time nanny to take sole/primary charge of their children. As the parents' schedules are often unpredictable and involve travel, the successful candidate will frequently be in sole charge - so maturity and strong, seasoned experience are essential.
This is a pure nanny role. A full-time live-in housekeeper takes care of all cooking and cleaning, so there are no household duties in the nanny's remit, and no evening or weekend babysitting - a genuine Monday-to-Friday position with real work-life balance.

- Location: London / Bayswater, West London
- Children: Three (children)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, approx. 7:15am–6:15pm
- Salary: Negotiable, subject to skills and experience
- Live-out position
- Start date: Late September (urgent search)
Key responsibilities
- Sole/primary charge of all three children during working hours
- School runs to and from two different schools (family car provided)
- Managing daily routines, after-school care, homework support, activities and play
- Supporting one child with additional needs, working alongside the family's speech & language therapist, occupational therapist and school learning support assistant
- Clear, regular communication with the parents
What we're looking for
- Maturity and strong, proven experience above all - comfortable in sole charge
- A genuine vocation for childhood development; a career nanny rather than a stopgap
- Ideally an educational/school or teaching background combined with hands-on nanny experience
- Real, hands-on experience supporting a child with additional needs
- Warm, organised, reliable and an excellent communicator
- Full UK driving licence essential (family car provided)
- Happy around animals - the family has a pet dog (occasional vet appointments)
Candidates in their late-20s to late-30s have worked well for this family previously, though experience and suitability are what matter most.
