Salary: £55,000 gross per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday. Flexible start/finish — options include 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, or 9am–5pm

The Household
A warm, relaxed family home in London. The household includes two adults, a teenager, and three much-loved rescue cats. The family travels frequently, so flexibility and the ability to run the home independently are important. They previously had a housekeeper of 25 years who was part of the family — they're looking for someone who can build the same kind of long-term, trusted relationship.
The Role
This is a sole-charge housekeeping position for someone meticulous, calm, and happy working independently across a large home.
Cleaning & House Care
- Impeccable, detail-oriented cleaning throughout the house
- Daily hoovering required (there is a cat allergy in the household)
- Curtains opened each morning, hoovered, and closed in the evening
- Thorough deep-cleaning including under the oven and inside cupboards
- Keeping the home consistently clean, ordered, and well-presented
Laundry
- All household laundry
Cats
- Genuine love of cats essential — three rescue cats live in the home
- Feeding, affection, and general care
- Cat-sitting when the family is away (daytime visits only, not overnight)
Other
- Occasional grocery shopping
- General household management and flexibility as needs arise
Not required: Cooking
