Irving Knight Group are partnered with a growing specialized provider of smart workplace solutions designed to facilitate hybrid working, optimize office space, and enhance employee productivity looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to support their continued UK expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Their product portfolio includes software, mobile apps, and IoT hardware designed to transform traditional offices into smart environments such as; Desk Booking System, Room Booking System, Visitor Management System, Digital Signage & Wayfinding, Parking Space Booking, Analytics, Week Planner, Issue Reporting.
- Work with the likes of Steelcase to combine digital workplace software with their physical office furniture.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders: IT, Facilities, CEO, Workplace Manager.
- Responding to and leading RFI/RFP processes.
- Contributing input to the development of propositions and GTM strategies.
- Acting as a sparring partner for the management team or executive board.
- Working together alongside partners in the region and developing a relationship with key account managers within these organisations.
Requirements:
- Must have proven commercial sales experience selling into large scale organisation accounts (1,000+ employees), ideally selling software for the workplace.
- Would consider people working for Specialist Integrators / Reseller.
- Open to AV sales experience.
- In possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Independently manages complex customer journeys.
- Leverages own network to generate new opportunities.
- Builds long-term relationships based on Blue Sheet methodology.
- Proposes well-founded initiatives for process improvement or new market approaches and takes ownership of their rollout.
- A driven, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
- Stress-resistant and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You know exactly what is needed to provide customers with an optimal experience.
- Service- and customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Affinity with and curiosity about software, preferably experience in selling software-related products.
- Assembles project teams and optimally utilizes internal resources to close deals.
