- Position Summary
The Caffe Attendant ensures that guests are aware of the retail products available for purchase and maintains a high level of expertise on products and explains their purpose ingredients suggested uses or other related information.
- Job Duties
- Provides friendly efficient and responsive service to all customers during sales transactions at the Caffe.
- Serve pastries and light lunches assist with the preparation of beverage and menu items and continually seek to improve knowledge of specialty coffee and gourmet meal service.
- Responsible for maintaining sanitation and upkeep of all equipment.
- Responsible for managing the cash register cash handling upholding food safety procedures.
- Maintain active Food Handlers Card.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations
Caffe Attendant
- Minimum of one year as a Barista preferably in a coffee house or hotel/resort setting.
- Must possess effective verbal written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs.
- Google Apps experience a plus.
Compensation
- Base Pay Start Rate: $16.00
