Are you a private chef or skilled home cook who enjoys preparing fresh, varied meals from scratch? We are seeking someone with strong practical cookery skills to support a client with a moderate physical disability. The role is around 60% focused on meal preparation, alongside driving, errands, trips to country parks, laundry and other household tasks.
Food is a huge part of this role. The client has specific dietary needs and food sensitivities, so this would suit someone who enjoys cooking carefully within a clear brief. She enjoys coming up with new meal ideas, so would like to be able to say: How about this Thai meatball recipe today? without you being fazed.
You’ll need to be comfortable taking practical direction, following instructions closely and carrying out tasks in the client’s preferred way. No personal care is required.
